【アレティ アンバサダー コラム】食欲の秋に向けて

[Areti Ambassador Column] For the fall of appetite

This year, the end of the rainy season was late, so it feels like it's summer, but it's already autumn on the calendar.
I hate the heat, so I can't wait for autumn.

What I want to do for such autumn ...
Hmmm, changing clothes is still early
As for the new color check of makeup, I'm still living in a mask, so I don't feel like it.

Then!
Early on, the taste of autumn is about to begin to appear, isn't it?
Autumn is the season when food is delicious
Especially fruits are pears, chestnuts, persimmons and grapes. I want to eat soon

So I tried to make jam
Anyone can easily make it and it can be used as a preserved food, so I recommend it.
I have a bread lover for breakfast, so jam is a must

This time, I made fig and pumpkin jam.

First fig

【material】
5 figs (300g peeled)
90-120 g of sugar (30-40% of figs)
2 tablespoons of lemon juice

Wash and peel figs
Finely chop the white part as much as possible and put the juice in the pot without spilling.
Add sugar, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and simmer over low to medium heat.
When it's boiled down and it's chilly, put out the fire just before the hardness you like.
Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and mix well to finish.

It's super easy!

Fig is rich in nutrition and has long been called "the fruit of immortality and longevity".

* Rich in minerals such as calcium and iron that are the source of blood and bones
* Rich in dietary fiber pectin, good for intestinal activity
* Enzymes such as ficin promote digestion
* Rich in potassium to prevent high blood pressure

It's a very good fruit to rest the body that was overworked in the summer.

Well, next is pumpkin

【material】
1/2 pumpkin (about 500g)
Sanon Tou 60g
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon Cointreau

Peel the pumpkin and cut it to a suitable size
Heat in the microwave until the skewers are smooth
Transfer to a pan while hot, add warm sugar, mix well, and simmer over low heat.
Add lemon juice, milk and Cointreau
OK if it becomes a smooth paste

The amount of sugar is adjusted by the sweetness of the pumpkin
Also, adjust the milk according to your taste.
Cointreau is alcohol, so if you want your child to eat it, you can't put it in.

Pumpkin

* Rich in β-carotene, which has antioxidant and immune-enhancing effects
* By improving the immune function, it strengthens the resistance to bacteria and viruses.
* Rich in vitamin E known as "rejuvenating vitamin"
* Because it contains a lot of nutrients called lutein, it is also effective for eyestrain.

Both figs and pumpkins have an excellent autumn taste.
Jam is convenient because you can take a lot at once.
However, since it uses sugar, you can get a lot of sugar.
You can adjust it if you make it yourself.

I still want to try making various jams using persimmons, pears, chestnuts, etc.
