Aiming to be a woman who can be teleworked! 3 tips to improve your concentration
Due to the influence of the new coronavirus, telework has begun to be promoted in Japan as well.
GW is finally over and telework is resumed. However, there are many people who are in trouble because they can't concentrate on their work at home.
So, here are three tips to help you focus more and focus on your work at home.
Decide on a routine
When is the time to switch on your work mode?
I have commuting time for office work, but at home I can work immediately when I sit at my desk.
It is difficult to concentrate immediately because life and work are continuous.
So, in telework, let's make a routine before starting work.
For example
- Make coffee
- Clean the place you care about
- Radio calisthenics
It doesn't matter what the routine is.
By deciding what to do before work and executing it every day, you will naturally switch to work mode.
In particular, light exercise activates the work of the brain, so it is especially recommended before work!
Take regular breaks
If you stay in your room at home, you may forget the time and immerse yourself in your work.
However, no matter how much you can concentrate, if you continue to work for a long time, you will get tired and the performance will deteriorate as a result.
I was able to take classes for hours when I was a student because I had many breaks in between.
Adding such sharpness leads to higher concentration.
If you concentrate for 1 hour, you can rest your brain for 5 minutes.
Acquiring this habit is the key to improving your concentration!
Focus on one job
Multitasking is one of the causes of loss of concentration during teleworking.
For example, when you cannot communicate smoothly with team members and need to confirm one task many times.
You may end up in a situation where you create materials, contact members, get confirmation work, and do your job in the meantime.
Also, every time I get in touch with someone in quick succession, I sometimes stop working and get chased by a reply.
In fact, this situation is multitasking and you lose your concentration!
In such a case, set a rule such as "Block external contact when you want to concentrate", find your own break, and switch well.
It may seem inefficient to work one by one, but in fact, focusing on one task is the fastest way to stay focused and work efficiently.
What did you think?
“Determine a routine and concentrate on one job with a break”
This method can be applied not only during teleworking, but also for everyday office work, hobbies, housework, etc.
Let's take this opportunity to practice and improve your concentration!
